A weekend with good friends

Andrea and Ellliott were able to spend some time with us this weekend, Saturday thru Monday morning, after the completion of Andrea's dissertation defense (Yay! for Dr. Andrea!) on Thursday of last week. As always it was wonderful to spend time with good friends. We relaxed together, watched a good share of Olympics, and played a few rounds of Settlers (Whitney won 2 of the 3 rounds -- yeah baby!)

We also took some time to celebrate Jake's 27th BDay on Saturday by grilling steaks and making homemade ice cream. Lots of fun and very yummy!

The boys kept Andrea & Elliott very busy with lots of play and running around the house. Good exercise!
