Happy Birthday, Karlynn!

Hard to believe, but Karlynn is ONE! We had a fun party with family and a couple friends. She received, count 'em, three babydolls as well as some other fun toys. She loved opening presents, the balloons, and smashing into the homemade gluten free, dairy free, agave sweetened birthday cake I made for her... even with homemade strawberry frosting!

Surprise Party!

I am blessed to have loving and fun in-laws. This year, for Donna's 55th birthday, Jake's dad, Brian, threw her an awesome surprise party! Best part - she was completely surprised - shhh, she even cried a little. We enjoyed some yummy mexican food catered in, a live band, and some super yummy cake. It was a special evening and a great chance to celebrate such an awesome woman!

All-Star Fun Run

Micah's elementary school fall fundraiser was the All Star Fun Run this year. He collected pledge amounts for laps that he would complete to raise money for his class and school technology. He did so AWESOME! He completed all 36 laps, running like a champ, and didn't even break for water until the very end. I was super duper pround of my boy!
