Happy 5th Birthday, Caden!

Over the years Caden has always been the one to get sick and miss out on a birthday party.  Well, this year, we made up for it!  Not only did he get a Chuck E. Cheese party with extended family in Tampa, but he also got a party with my mom's side of the family on his actual birthday and then another party with Jake's family when we got home.  I am pretty sure he loved every second of attention, cake and presents!

Tampa Zoo

The Tampa Zoo is such a wonderful zoo!  So, just like last summer, we took a day to enjoy the animals and fun rides there during our visit to FL.  Karlynn adored the monkies (as all of us did, I think) and the boys had a field day playing the water area.  Next time I will need to remember to put them in swimsuits.  We took lots of pictures.  Here are some of my favorites...

Chuck E. Cheese Party

We started Caden's 5th birthday celebrations at Chuck E. Cheese with many of his second cousins... Olivia, Nathan, Gavin, Sam and Christian.  It was such a fun time with the kids.  Really, even though part of me hates to admit it, the folks at Chuck E. Cheese do an awesome job of providing a fun and affordable party.  Not to mention that they do a fabulous job of making the birthday kid feel super special.  Caden ate it up.

Tropical Storm Debby hit Tampa on the day of the party, so it ended up being a great indoor activity for all of the kids.  It was a wet wet day outside!

An hour with old friends

While at Disney World we were able to briefly visit with some good friends from Myrtle Beach Summer Project days, Jen and Bryan Hepp.  We also got to meet their two cuties, Olivia and William.  Only an hour together, but it was such a joy to sit down and catch up for a bit.  Hopefully we can do it again sometime!

Disney World: A Magical Day at the Magic Kingdom

I took a surprisingly small amount of pictures during our day at the Magic Kingdom with Nana and Granddaddy. I guess we were just having too much fun to be bothered with the camera!  Nonetheless, I'll share the best of what I've got.
