Happy 3rd Birthday, Caden!

Caden dug right into birthday presents this morning! He is so excited it is his birthday and is feeling like quite the big boy today. We got him a backpack and lunchbox for school and a Buzz Lightyear.



The video below is pretty fun. Unfortunately, I missed the first thing he said, which was, "OH COOL!!!"

Visiting the Downings & Meeting Isaiah

We finally made our way back to the Portland area this month to visit our friends Elliott and Andrea and to meet their baby boy, Isaiah. Time flies and he was already 5 months old, sweet with big smiles and lots of cute drool :-).

We had lots of fun playing at the park, going to the Oregon Zoo, going boating, and of course, just hanging out and being together.

Jake and I have been having fun playing around with baby names lately. As always, I have put together a Babyzone.com name poll -- just for fun. If you know Jake and I at all then you know there is always a chance that we will choose a name not on the poll and at the very last minute! There is a good chance that we will post a second baby name poll as we continue to refine our thoughts. For instance, we love the name Reese, but are not sure what to pair it with as of yet.

Disneyland ~ Sunset Beach ~ Family Fun

We went to California over Memorial Day weekend to have some much needed family fun. Jake has been travelling almost every week since the end of January, so the time together was precious and wonderful. We spent a day (my birthday) at Disneyland, a day at Sunset and Huntington Beach, and a day with Jake's side of the family in Lancaster. It was tons of fun, but boy were we exhausted when all was said and done.
