Halloween 2009

After returning from Washington D.C. we stayed in Payson to do the Halloween thing with family. All of the boys were very cute. Micah was Alphabet Boy (and Daddy even dressed as Number Man), Caden was a very cute monkey, Nate was a garbage man, and Bryce was a bumble bee with an adorable stinger. They caught on to trick-or-treating quickly... Caden even asked one lady, as he was reaching out for candy, "Take four?" Smart kid ;-).

Washington D.C.

Jake and I spent about 3 days away together last week - thanks to Jamie and Derek watching our boys. We had a mutual work assignment in Washington D.C., so we decided to make a mini kid free vacation out of it. The boys had tons of fun playing in Payson and Jake and I enjoyed being together and seeing the awesome sites of D.C. I loved seeing the changing Fall leaves too, as you will see from the pictures!

So beautiful! Across from the Jefferson Memorial.

Someone had put a white rose up against the wall - thought it was very pretty.

I call this: "Whitney is Small"... standing near the Washington Monument.

SUPER Birthday Cake :)

One of my friends, Elissa, celebrated her 30th birthday this week. We both share a love for Superman, so with that notion twirling around in my mind, I decided to get a little creative and slipped the following cupcake-cake on to her doorstep. I was pretty proud of myself.

Pumpkins and Bouncing at Peace Lutheran Pre-School

Micah's pre-school put together a pumpkin patch and craft fair last Saturday. We took the boys to pick out a pumpkin, bounce in the bouncy-house, and browse through the craft tables (there was some good stuff, actually). Here are some pics...

Finally -- Pictures of Jake's Wine/Liquor Cabinet

The cabinet arrived - in many many pieces - in mid-September. Jake was pretty excited, so he got it put together right away and stocked it up with all of his cocktail making supplies. It looks very pretty in our dining area and I am very glad to have all of the bar tools and bottles out of my pantry and kitchen drawers!
