Celebrating 10 Years: Day 1

After flying from Flagstaff to Phoenix, Phoenix to Philadelphia, and then Philadelphia to London... we finally made it!  We took a taxi ride from Heathrow to our first hotel, the Hilton Waldorf on Aldwych near Charing Cross.  We arrived a little before our room was ready, so we hung out in the Executive Lounge (yay for Hilton Honors) to have coffee and a snack while we waited.

I call this picture, "A Portrait of Jetlag."
After a short power-nap and a shower we went back down to the lounge for tea and scones, and then hit the town for a walk and some sites.

Walking through Green Park.  Not our best picture, but at least we are showered this time!

After visiting Green Park and the palace we went across the street for a light dinner at the original Hard Rock Café.
Whitney was still very sick and recovering from a nasty cold/respiratory infection, so she had tea at dinner too...

Thankfully, Jake never got sick, so he had a little more fun at dinner.
