100 Classics

Apparently American adults have read only six of the top 100 books ever written. I'm not sure where this list came from, but thought this would be fun... feel free to copy/paste and do the same on your blog if you are so intrigued...

The Rules:

So that makes 18 (*) reads on my part. I am not sure what I think of this list -- there are definitely some major books missing. I found it interesting that while I have not read many of the books on the list that I have read many other books by a number of the listed authors. Makes me curious.
